Pierre and Marielle Paradis

We have known the Lord for over 31 years and have been married for
30 years. We have three
children (Isabelle, Jonathan and Sandra), two of whom
are married. We are also the grandparents of Nathan,
born on December 6, 2005.
My wife and I have always been actively involved in our
local church. The Lord entrusted us, 17 years ago, with
the pastorate of Église Évangélique Nouvelle Vie in
Boucherville. I am an ordained pastor with the PAOC and
have been a credential holder for the last 24 years.
In 2002, we were part of a short-term mission to Haiti
and it awakened in us the possibility of ministering in
a different culture. Our path toward the mission field
has been confirmed in many ways and we have now reached
the exciting step of finding our prayer and financial
partners. We believe that God will also be glorified in
this process.
Our first missionary assignment will be in the
Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire), more
specifically in the Province of Katanga, at the south
end of the country. We will be working with the
Superintendent of more than one hundred churches in this
region, as well as with the Bible College in Lubumbashi.
We will also work with local pastors as instructors and
advisors. My experience as a member of the District
Executive will undoubtedly be useful. In short, this is
the challenge before us. Will you partner with us in
order to bless that part of the French-speaking world
that has been expecting a missionary from French Canada
for more than six years?
